“Maschinenträume (Machine Dreams)”, 360 Minutes of Art Exhibition, 2014 – a sophisticated project with a guerrilla tactic that has never been so merciless before: Art emerges and can be seen only at this time and only by the visitors of this show.

And it disappears again.

Either with a buyer. Or after the exhibition in the fire.

“Amor fati”, 2014 : Things we cannot control are sometimes the best that could happen to us.

“We fall for nothing”, 2014 – We collect pieces of a puzzle, but we don’t know how they belong together. As far as we experience – it won’t be enough. We can only react to what’s happening right now, and hope for the best.

“Remnants of the visible world”, 2014 – At the focal point of a gigantic machinery that is driven by an obscure desire

“Silent witnesses of our failure”, 2014 – The end of the movement of a spin top becomes apparent by short oscillations. They
are hardly noticeable, but they will finally bring the spin top to come to a stop.

“Remnants of blasted dreams”, 2014

“Future fatigue”, 2014 – Her face in the neon glow seemed like a thing that had been brought up from dreams and then carelessly thrown away.

360 Minutes Art : Volume 1 has been held on May 17 in a former prison ward in Wiesbaden. Under the motto: Now or Never: Artists Burn Their Unsold Artworks After “360 Minutes Art”, 7 Artists show their artworks in this limited time window. Time can be a merciless opponent, even for artworks: An unusual concept-art exhibition was held on May 17 in a former prison ward in Wiesbaden.

The visitors had exactly 360 minutes time to decide on the future of the presented artworks – and all which had not been sold within those six hours, ended up in the prison yard and burned. Pure provocation? Not only!

360 Minutes Art is neither about forcing people to buy artworks, nor to save the artworks from the flames. Of course it is a provocation, but the point is rather the matter of becoming aware about the fact that we cannot always have everything everywhere at any time, even if we burn the entire value of a Porsche… – That’s awesome…!” so Sven Sauer, graphic designer and co-organizer of “360 Minutes Art”.
